Full Warranty Terms
1) Definitions
“Product” means HARMONIK-branded LED pool and spa light luminaires sold by HARMONIK in the United States.
“Buyer” means the professional trade customer that purchased the Product directly from HARMONIK (e.g., pool builder, professional installer, service company) as shown on HARMONIK’s invoice.
“End Customer” means the homeowner, facility owner, or operator for whom the Buyer installs the Product.
“Limited Warranty” means this 2-Year Limited Warranty.
2) What this Limited Warranty covers
HARMONIK warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation for the warranty period stated in Section 4.
Covered defects may include, as applicable: (a) failure of LED assemblies due to manufacturing defect; (b) failure of internal electronics due to manufacturing defect; and (c) water ingress caused by a manufacturing defect in sealing (not caused by installation conditions or external damage).
3) Required external power supply (no internal driver)
HARMONIK LED pool and spa lights do not contain internal drivers/power supplies.
The Product must be powered using a field-installed 12 Vdc pool/spa transformer/power supply listed to UL 379, installed in accordance with applicable codes and HARMONIK instructions.
Use of an incompatible, incorrectly wired, incorrect-voltage, or non-listed power supply may cause damage and will void this Limited Warranty.
4) Warranty period and start date
This Limited Warranty lasts for two (2) years and begins on the date of purchase by the Buyer shown on HARMONIK’s invoice.
5) Who is covered (B2B buyer + pass-through benefit)
A) Buyer coverage. This Limited Warranty is provided to the Buyer.
B) Pass-through benefit to End Customer (claims must go through Buyer). If the Buyer installs the Product for an End Customer (residential or commercial), the End Customer may benefit from the remaining term of this Limited Warranty through the Buyer, provided that: (i) the Buyer remains the party submitting the warranty claim and coordinating troubleshooting/returns with HARMONIK; and (ii) the Buyer provides proof of purchase (HARMONIK invoice) and installation details when requested.
This Limited Warranty does not create an independent right for an End Customer to submit a claim directly to HARMONIK unless HARMONIK agrees in writing.
6) What HARMONIK will do (exclusive remedies)
If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, HARMONIK will, at its option: (1) repair the Product; (2) replace the Product (new or refurbished, at HARMONIK’s discretion) with the same model or a functionally equivalent model; or (3) refund the Buyer’s original purchase price paid to HARMONIK for the affected Product.
Any repaired or replaced Product is covered only for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.
7) What this Limited Warranty does not cover (exclusions)
A) Installation / wiring / workmanship issues: Installation not performed by qualified personnel; wiring errors; incorrect polarity (for DC systems); loose connections; inadequate wiring; improper sealing of conduit, junction box, niche, gland, or cable entry; and field modifications, cutting/splicing, or rework of the cable, sealing surfaces, strain relief, or potting.
B) Power issues / incorrect equipment: Incorrect input voltage/current; wrong supply type; wrong controller; power surges/spikes/brownouts; lightning; unstable power; and use with non-UL 379 listed power supply or otherwise incompatible equipment.
C) Misuse / abuse / external causes: Impact damage; vandalism; animals; fire; flood; other acts of nature; unauthorized disassembly/modification/attempted repair; and cosmetic wear that does not affect function (scratches, discoloration, staining, corrosion, surface changes).
D) Costs not covered: Labor and service costs for troubleshooting, removal, reinstallation, site visits; draining/refilling water; tile/plaster/deck work; niche repair; access costs; and other equipment not sold by HARMONIK (controllers, transformers, power supplies, etc.).
8) How to make a warranty claim (Buyer-submitted)
To start a claim, the Buyer must email info@Harmonik.eu and include: (1) Buyer company name and contact info; (2) HARMONIK invoice number (proof of purchase) and purchase date; (3) Product model/SKU and quantity; (4) description of the issue and when it started; (5) photos/video showing the issue and (if relevant) the installation connection area; and (6) identification of the UL 379 12 Vdc power supply used (brand/model or photo of label if available).
HARMONIK may request reasonable troubleshooting steps before authorizing a return.
9) Returns and inspection (RMA)
If HARMONIK authorizes a return, HARMONIK will provide return instructions and may issue an RMA number. Products returned without authorization may be refused.
If the returned Product is found to be defective and covered, HARMONIK will provide the remedy in Section 6. If the Product is not defective or the failure is excluded, HARMONIK may return the Product at the Buyer’s expense and may charge reasonable shipping/inspection costs where permitted by law.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HARMONIK will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, downtime, loss of enjoyment, damage to surrounding materials, costs of substitute equipment, or labor/installation costs.
Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.
HARMONIK’s total liability under this Limited Warranty will not exceed the amount actually paid by the Buyer to HARMONIK for the affected Product.
11) Implied warranties and legal rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the two (2) year warranty period.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
12) Governing law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of Andorra, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
